Course Content: Introduction to Pattern-Cutting Equipment Learn about the essential tools and equipment needed to create accurate patterns for lingerie, including cutting tools, rulers, and drafting paper. - Introduction to Bra/Lingerie Features and Trims Understand the key components of bras and lingerie, such as underwires, cups, straps, bands, and fastenings. You’ll also explore various trims and their functional and aesthetic roles in lingerie design. - How to Measure a Bra/Lingerie Learn the proper techniques for measuring a bra or lingerie design, ensuring that every piece fits perfectly and comfortably. - How to Make a Manual Pattern for a Bra Get hands-on experience in creating a manual pattern for a bra. You’ll learn to translate measurements and design ideas into flat patterns, laying the foundation for a custom-made piece. - How to Cut Your Pieces for Your Bra/Lingerie Design Once your pattern is ready, discover the best techniques for cutting your fabric pieces, including tips for working with delicate materials. - How to Sew The Pieces for Your Bra/Lingerie Design Once your pattern is ready, we will teach you how to make a bra/lingerie using our state-of-the-art equipment, which is especially for lingerie manufacturing. The course content is designed to be flexible. The pace will depend on your individual progress, so you can expect to move through the material at your own speed. It is not guaranteed that you will get through everything in one session so you might need to book more sessions to complete everything.
