Sample Machinist

We are looking to hire a FULL TIME/PART TIME Machinist is our South London based design studio.

 

*IMMEDIATE START*

 

The ideal candidate must have the following requirements:

  • 8 years experience sampling and production work

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good command of English

  • Knowledge how to set and adjust different industrial machines

  • Ability to work efficiently and with a team of other machinists and pattern cutters.

 

Starting Salary £26,000 pa

Pattern Cutting Tutor

We are seeking a freelance pattern cutting tutor at our South London based studio:

*IMMEDIATE START*

The ideal candidate would have the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years tutoring pattern cutting.

  • Ability to work with basic, intermediate and advanced students.

  • Some knowledge of basic grading is ideal.

  • Good command of English.

  • Knowledge of different fabrics, body measurements and ability to create size charts.

Starting Rate of £16 per hour

Sewing Tutor

We are seeking a freelance pattern cutting tutor at our South London based studio:

*IMMEDIATE START*

The ideal candidate would have the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years tutoring sewing and dressmaking.

  • Ability to work with basic, intermediate and advanced students.

  • Knowledge of how to use domestic and some industrial machines.

  • Good command of English and clear communication.

  • Knowledge of different fabrics, finishings, trims and draping techniques.

Starting Rate of £16 per hour

Pattern Cutter & Grader

We are seeking a freelance pattern cutter that can take on jobs and work from home.

*IMMEDIATE START*

The ideal candidate would have the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years making professional manual patterns.

  • Ability to create patterns from existing garment is important 

  • Must be able to execute work neatly and follow deadlines.

  • Grading skills would be ideal but not a deal breaker.

  • Willing to provide fit suggestions.

  • Knowledge of different fabrics, finishings, trims and draping techniques.

Starting Rate of £20 per hour
